Gharat or Girhaat or Panchakki are water powered flour mills. Gharats are based on river bed as open water mills. The speed of the stone grinding wheel in a gharat is way slower than that of the commercial mills. We are still using stones for grinding. This atta contains bran that keeps all vitamin and fiber intact. This is cold atta not hot. This is slowest process of grinding. All it is a slowest process food where in the flour don’t get  heated, nutritious, value of the grains remain put… as against the mill atta where in the atta gets heated n all nutritious contents get evaporated.
