According to information received from Jagran correspondent, action against counterfeit medicines is going on in Ghaziabad for two days. At present, the central government team is investigating the drug shops in the Raj Nagar Extension area of Ghaziabad since Friday morning. So far, fake medicines worth ₹ 16 lakh have been found here. The premise of drug warehouse is sealed. An FIR is being registered in this matter.

The exports of drugs and pharmaceuticals during the month of August, 2022 has registered a growth of 6.61 per cent as compared to the corresponding month of last year, according to the preliminary data released by the ministry of commerce and industry. The growth comes against a slight decline of around one per cent reported in the month of July, 2022.
According to the IPA's report, "In view of interaction with the management of the company and the detailed reply, it is clear that 1,000 crore expenditure on single brand Dolo 650 on freebies in one year is not correct," it said. ET has seen a copy of the report.
